5.3.3 Live Data
The
Live Data
function enables you to view the real-time live data,
including the values (volt, RPM, temperature, speed, etc.) and system
status information (open loop, closed loop, etc.) generated by vehicle
sensors, switches, and actuators.
NOTE:
If the vehicle must be driven in order to perform a
troubleshooting procedure,
ALWAYS
have a second person help
you. One person should drive the vehicle while the other person
observes the Scan Tool data. It is dangerous to drive and operate
the Scan Tool at the same time because a serious traffic accident
might be caused.
1)
To view live data, use the
UP/DOWN
scroll button to select
Live Data
from the
Function Menu
screen, and press the
OK
button. The screen will show as below.

The number to the right of the selected item indicates the
sequence of this item.
If you want to select the item, press the function button
corresponding to
Select
.
To select all the items on the screen, press the function button
corresponding to
Select All
. To clear all the selected items on
the screen, press the function button corresponding to
Clear All
.
