MOTOR
The Ital E-Bike has an electric assistance motor integrated with the gearbox and
contained in a die-cast aluminum housing. The brushless 48volt 500watt motor
requires no maintenance
The motor capable of an output of 500 W with an efficiency level of 85%. The
motor weighings only 2 kg. and works without friction thanks to brushless
technology.
Like any other part of the bicycle, the motor life depends on its use. Under
standard conditions, the life of the motor can vary between 10 to 20 years or up to
100,000 km.
The motor will emit a certain level of noise during use, this is normal and depends
on the effort to which it is subjected. In case of abnormal noises, heat, smoke,
performance loss, etc... contact your Author-ized Ital E-Bike Service Centre.

Use in rainy conditions: the motor as well as the electrical connectors, are properly
protected for use in rainy conditions, as they are entirely sheltered inside a die-
cast aluminium .

assistance
The motor provides extra power, proportionate to the effort, as soon as you start
pedaling. This power can be adjusted so as to optimize the range of the bicycle.
Four levels, or "modes" of assist can be selected by buttons on the left handlebar.
The modes can be selected at any time the bike is turned on regardless of whether
the bike is moving or stationary.
