2. Internal Cable Connections
2.1 Introduction
The Fire Alarm Control Panel / Controller is customized according to each
specific delivery. Most of the internal cabling is already done (
see Cable
Connections - Overview),
as the control panel will always be delivered from
the factory with the mandatory internal I/O modules; Power Module BSS-310
and the Communication Module BSL-310 installed.
In addition to a description of the location of the fuses and internal cable
connections overview, this chapter covers the following:
Connecting the Power Supply & Battery Charger
Connecting the Battery
Connecting the network cables (AUTROLON)
Connections for Temperature Compensated Battery Charging
Voltage (when external battery connection is used)
2.2 Before Connecting Cables
Before connecting cables, make sure that the mains power is
not
connected.
Remove the fuses F1 and F2 on the Power Supply (refer to
illustration in the subsequent chapter).
Do not replace the fuses until commissioning of the system.
