3. System Settings
3.1 Menu Selections - Overview
All system settings are
global
settings, meaning that the settings
affect the entire system. From the Service Menu, perform the
following:
Press Enter to select System Settings.
The following menu selections appear:
Save Configuration (chapter 3.2)
Restart System (chapter 3.3)
Day Mode Operation Times (chapter 3.4)
Service Mode Password (chapter 3.5)
Date and Time (chapter 3.6)
Set Operator Panel Connection (chapter 3.7)
Sound Patterns (chapter 3.8)
Automatic Resound (chapter 3.9)
Detection Zone Delay Timers (chapter 3.10)
Detection Zone Global Dependency (chapter 3.11)
Battery Parameters (chapter 3.12)
Panel Name (chapter 3.13)
Language (chapter 3.14)
FARE and FWRE Disablement (chapter 3.15)
Mains Power Fault Indication (chapter 3.16)
Printer Setup (chapter 3.17)
Configuration Check (chapter 3.18)
System Shutdown (chapter 3.19)

The following chapters describe the menus in detail (following the
sequence of the System Settings Menu).
3.2 Save Configuration
Each time a configuration has been changed, this command should
be run. The changes will not become effective until a Restart System
command is performed.
From the Service Menu, perform the following:
Press Enter to select System Settings.
Press Enter twice to select Save Configuration.
Type a new Site Name, or accept the existing one by pressing the
arrow down button.
Type a new Operator Name, or accept the existing one by
pressing the arrow down button.
Press Enter to type a new Site Configuration Version then press
Enter, or accept the existing one by pressing the arrow down
button.
Press Enter to type a new Description then press Enter, or accept
the existing one by pressing the arrow down button.
To confirm, press Enter.
