5.10.3 Configure Properties for a Loop IO Carrier
The name of the Loop IO Carrier can be changed.
From the Loop IO Carriers Menu (chapter 5.10.2), perform the
following:
After selecting the Loop IO Carrier in question by means of the
arrow down/up buttons, press Enter twice.
Type a new Name, or accept the existing one by pressing the
arrow down button.
Press Enter to view the Function/Switch.
Press Enter, then type a new Unit Function, or accept the existing
one by pressing the arrow down button.
Press Enter, then type another Production Number, or accept the
existing one by pressing the arrow down button.
Press Enter, then state the hardware type, or accept the existing
one by pressing the arrow down button.
To confirm the setting, press Enter once more.
5.10.4 Show All Carrier Units
This menu allows you to view all Carrier Units. It not possible to
change unit properites of the listed points, inputs or outputs.The
command only helps the operator to show what type of I/O subunits
the selected carrer is hosting.
To change properites of the Carrier's subunits, use one of the
commands corresponding to the unit type.
From the Loop IO Carriers Menu (chapter 5.10.2), perform the
following:
After pressing the Function button for the selected Loop IO
Carrier(s), use the arrow down button to scroll downwards to
Show All Carrier Units, then press Enter.
In the display you will now see a list of all Carrier Units.
"Show all Carrier Units" creates a list of units independent of the IO
Carrier configuration (i.e. dip switch setting).
