Disablement and Enablement Events
AutroSafe allows equipment to be disabled; disabled units do not
report events (alarms or faults), nor will disabled control devices
perform actions (ring alarms, close doors). Disabled zones disable the
functionality of the equipment included in the zone.
Disabled Operation Zones are said to be in “day” mode of the function
“day/night”. In this case, the zone is configured to delay or block fire
alarms being presented to the public — the alarm is only presented on
the panel display, so that the information is relayed to fire-safety
personnel.

Detector-Inhibition Events
An inhibited detector reports alarms to the fire-alarm panel, but does
not raise an alarm, or cause actions in alarm zones or fire-protection
equipment. (Inhibit is typically used in gas-detection systems.)
