Why won’t
the TV turn
on?
Check if the
MAIN POWER
switch on the back of TV is
ON
.
Make sure the power cord is plugged in to the wall outlet or
car power port securely.
Use another appliance to check that the outlet works.
If using a battery, try plugging in the AC adapter to charge it.
Why doesn’t
my remote
work?
Remove any obstruction from the TV’s sensor.
Use the remote control no more than 19 feet away from your TV.
If the TV sensor’s LED does not flash when a button is
pressed, replace the battery on the remote.
Why am I
getting poor
or no sound?
Make sure the
MUTE
function is off and the volume is turned up.
Choose another language on the
HOT
menu. The channel
might not broadcast in the currently selected language.
If using headphones, make sure they are properly connected.
Why am
I getting
intermittent
or no signal?
Make sure your antenna is connected and undamaged.
The antenna signal strength may be low. Check the signal
meter on the receiver to see if the signal is strong enough. If
not, adjust your antenna system.
If you are using a powered antenna, make sure the power
boost and amplifier gain are on. Try adjusting the gain setting.
Move your TV near a window if you are indoors.
Move your TV away from other appliances that could cause
interference (such as a microwave).
Why do I
have a blank
blue screen?
The TV is in External Input mode. Make sure your A/V cable
is connected properly and the device’s power is turned on.
