CONNECTING THE DEVICE AND PLAYING MUSIC (BY THE EXAMPLE OF IPOD)

6.1

CONNECTING IPOD TO THE INTERFACE

Connect  iPod  to  the  adapter  and  wait  a  bit  till  it  gets  into  the  external  control  mode.
During  the  initialization,  the  screen  of  the  iPod  can  change  continuously  for
approximately 25 seconds.

NOTE: When  you  connect  iPhone  to  the  adapter,  you  may  receive  a  message  saying
“This accessory is not made to work with iPhone”. It can also ask you whether you want
to “Turn on the Airplane Mode”. Make sure to answer “NO”.

6.2

SELECTING IPOD MODE ON THE CAR STEREO

Press the CD (or Disc/Mode/CDC/SOURCE/AUX) button on radio repeatedly until "CD
x-x" appears on the radio display (x stands for the track number of "Now Playing" song
on  iPod),  which  proves  that  iPod  mode  has  been  completely  synchronized  and
activated.  The  time  necessary  for  synchronization  varies  depending  on  the  number  of
playlists that you have on your device. If you change source to AM/FM, CD, Cassette or
any other source, the iPod will pause automatically.

6.3

DISCONNECTING IPOD FROM THE INTERFACE

If you disconnect your iPod while  being in iPod mode, the car stereo will automatically
switch  to  AM/FM  mode.  When  you  disconnect  the  iPod  from  adapter,  its  screen
changes  back  to  the  normal  menu.  To  get  the  normal  menu  back  faster,  it  is
recommended to press and hold the Play/Pause button.

6.4

PLAYBACK OF MUSIC ON IPOD

The  audio  tracks  on  the  iPod  will  be  played  at  disc  1  and  the  order  of  tracks  will  be
determined by the default order on the iPod. To choose one of the nine playlists on the
iPod, you should select from disc 2 to disc 10 on the car stereo.
