Important guidelines when using the battery.
When installing or removing the battery, take note of the following:
-
Avoid removing or installing the battery when the tablet is in Sleep mode. Abruptly
removing the battery may cause loss of data or the tablet may become unstable.
-
Avoid touching the battery terminals as damage may occur, thereby causing improper
operation to it or the tablet.
The tablet's input voltage and environmental temperature directly affect the battery's
charge and discharge time:
-
Charging time will be prolonged when the tablet is turned on. To shorten the charging
time, it is recommended that you place the tablet in Sleep or Hibernation mode.
-
Low temperatures will prolong the charging time as well as hasten the discharge time.
Touchscreen Guidelines
Only use your finger or CAX-series active stylus pen on the display. Using a sharp or
metallic object other than your finger or CAX-series active stylus pen may cause scratches
and damage the touchscreen, thereby causing errors.
Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt on the touchscreen. The touchscreen surface has a
special protective coating that prevents dirt from sticking to it. Not using a soft cloth may
cause damage to the special protective coating on the touchscreen surface. Turn off the
tablet when cleaning the touchscreen. Cleaning the touchscreen with the power on may
cause improper operation.
Do not use excessive force on the touchscreen. Avoid placing objects on top of the
touchscreen as this may cause the glass to break thereby damaging the touchscreen.
When there is a noticeable difference in the operation of the touchscreen function (such as
a wrong touch location or incorrect display resolution), refer to Windows Online Help for
instructions on recalibrating the touchscreen display.
