Operating the disc scraper 

Use the disc scraper for removing carpet and floor tiles in demolition and refurbishing jobs. The disc (1) takes 
off old carpet and tiles quickly and efficiently. 

Before starting to work:  

Read all safety instructions. 

Using the disc scraper: 

1. 

Set the disc scraper to working position. 

2. 

Scrape  the  surface  by  pushing  the  attachment  slightly  against  the  floor  with  the  loader.  The  Avant 

counterweights (2) keep the disc (1) firmly in the floor when driving. Move the loader to the desired 
direction forwards.

  Always drive carefully and calmly while operating the disc scraper. Adjust the drive speed according to 

the operating conditions and the floor. 

  If your loader is equipped with a telescopic boom, you can utilize it for a better view to the working 

area. 

 

NOTICE

 

Avoid sharp turns while operating the disc scraper. Lift the attachment off the floor before 
sharp turns.

Collision risk - Check the operating area before using the equipment. 

Running into 

an  obstacle  may  stop  the  machine  suddenly  and  unexpectedly  causing  injuries  from 

impact to head and body. 

  Drive slowly and pay attention to operating area at all times. 

  Make sure that there are no hidden obstacles under the carpet, for example. 

  Mark  visibly  any  potential  obstructions  beforehand  as  far  as  practical  so  that 

collisions can be avoided. 

  Operate equipment only at well lit areas or make sure the loader is equipped with 

sufficient lights.
