WARNING

Risk of serious personal injuries - Ensure that there are no other persons near the
operating area.

Do not allow others closer than 2 metres form the grab, to the boom

danger area, or directly in front or back of the loader. Move carefully and calmly near
persons or farm animals. Also make sure that it is safe to reverse with the loader.

Work can be started when the root grapple bucket has been mounted and the hydraulic fittings connected

according to the instructions. Check the attachment once more before starting work.

Check that hydraulic hoses will not get pinned or stretched in any position of the attachment or the

loader boom.

Remember correct working methods and avoid unnecessary descending from the loader.

Using the Push broom with root grapple bucket

When operating the Push broom while it is mounted to the Root grapple bucket, operate in similar way as when

using the broom separately. It is possible to transport a load simultaneously while operating the broom. Tilt the

attachment carefully, as small adjustments may put too much pressure onto the broom.

Working on uneven ground

Extra caution is needed when using the equipment on inclined terrains and slopes. Drive slowly especially on

inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and avoid sudden changes in speed or direction. Operate the controls

of the loader with careful and smooth movements. Watch out for ditches, holes on the ground, and other

obstacles, as hitting an obstacle may cause the loader to tip over.
Maximum lifting capacity can not be achieved on inclined terrain. On horizontally tilted terrain the load must

not be lifted high. The loader frame articulation should be kept straight when lifting heavy loads; turning the

load during lifting operation will affect the stability of the loader and may lead to overturning of the machine.

Operating with a tilt adapter

When you work on slightly inclined terrains, a tilt adapter is an useful option. The tilt adapter is fitted in

between the attachment and the quick coupling plate of the loader. The adapter allows the attachment to be

tilted sideways. The possible tilt adapter options at the time of print of this manual are ±12.5º (model A34148),

±45º (model A36505) or ±360º (model A424406). Read the instructions provided with the tilt adapter and in

the operator's manual of the loader. More information about the tilt adapters is available from your AVANT

retailer or from the AVANT web pages at www.avanttecno.com.
