•  Unit will not switch on to heat 

•  Unit will switch to standby mode after 1 minute 

•  Place cookware on plate and turn on

Temperature sensor overheated/
sensor out of order

•  Unit will stop heating 

•  E1 will disappear and plate will function 

 

when cooled 

•  When sensor is out of order, E1 will appear and 

 

machine will shut down

Cookware too hot

•  Boil dry protection activates 

•  Unplug and let cool down completely 

•  Unit will completely lock up 

•  After 20 minutes, E2 switches off and unit goes 

 

back to standby mode
