Accessing the Templates menu
Procedure
1. Open the
Templates
menu as described in the context in which the template is being used.
2. Select the required message from the
Templates
menu.
3. To edit the message, use the navigation key to move to different parts of the message and
the keypad to add additional text, and press
Clear
to delete text.
Replying to a text message with a template message
Procedure
1. Press

The handset displays a list of predefined message templates.
2. Select the required message template. If required, edit the message as described in The
Templates Menu on page 114.
3. Press
Send
.
The handset displays the message sender’s number.
4. Press
Send
.
The handset displays the “Message sent” confirmation when the message is sent.
Mobile data
Send mobile data
You can send predefined data from the handset by selecting a service. Moreover, you can create a
shortcut for quick access to a service.
You can use mobile data for opening a door, starting or stopping a machine, etc.
Send mobile data with a prefix
You can send mobile data with a prefix from the handset by pressing a pre-programmed hot key or
soft key or by selecting a service. You can use mobile data with a prefix to send information to an
application in the system. You need to define the prefix while programming the service.
My favorites
Using the
My favorites
menu, you can customize your own menu with the services and functions
that you use most often. A list of predefined services and functions are available. For example, write
new message, central phone book, call contact, and so on.
