TIP: If the customer defines unique names for each switch technician, the name are
echoed here. This is the name of the user who started a session on that Expec.
2. If a firmware download fails, you can test the different stages of the process. Try
downloading the firmware from Meridian SL-100 to Expec Ram with the
Add Load
button (see

You should see the firmware in the Load files box (this is RAM). If you can transfer to
RAM, the problem may be a bad firmware file or defective telephone set (see
Figure
40: Firmware in Load Files box
on page 127).
TIP: If there are firmware files in RAM, they must be removed with the
Delete load
button. This can cause upgrade failures.
