loopback
Use the
loopback
command to put a T1 or E1 line into loopback mode. Use the
no
form of the
command to disable loopback mode.
Syntax
For an E1 line:
loopback {[local {line | payload}] | diag}
no loopback
For a T1 line:
loopback {[local {line | payload}] | diag | [remote {line | payload}]}
no loopback

the external line signal back toward the

network and reframes the DS1 signal
diag
Keyword indicating that a loopback to the
device is in place
remote
Keyword indicating to create either a remote
payload or a remote line loopback. Only in
esf framing.
