Feature
Description
Avaya audio branding
When a user logs in or unlocks the deskphone, the
deskphone plays a sound clip. You can set the volume of
the sound clip by setting the parameter
BRANDING_VOLUME in the 46xxsettings.txt file.
Bridge call alerting
Using this feature, you can configure the way the
deskphone alerts for each bridged call appearance.
Enhanced call pickup alerting
Using this feature, the user can select the way the
deskphone plays audible alerts for incoming calls in a
pickup group. The options are - Delayed, Abbreviated,
Normal, and None.
Call Center Elite features
SIP release 6.2 supports Avaya Aura
®
Call Center Elite
features for 9600 Series IP Deskphones models 9608,
9611G, 9621G, and 9641G.
Dialing an E.164 number
Using this feature, a user can dial an E.164 number,
including a preceding "+".
Advanced call conference
When used with Avaya Aura
®
Conferencing, SIP release
6.2 offers new and advanced conference features.
Enhanced call forward
Using the Enhanced Call Forwarding feature, the
deskphone forwards different calls to different numbers
based on the call source.
Exchange contact integration
The deskphone downloads contact information from
Microsoft Exchange server, enabling the end user to see
the contacts stored in Personal Profile Manager (PPM) as
well as in the Microsoft Exchange server.

incorporates one-way audio. The recipients can not reply to
the group page or call back.
Note:
Note:
Avaya Aura® Communication Manager 6.2
and Avaya Aura® Session Manager 6.2 are
the minimum requirements to support this
feature.
