b. Install the EBM brackets by aligning each bracket with the screw holes. Secure the bracket the
supplied screws as shown in

c. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each additional EBM.
2. On the bottom unit (UPS or EBM), secure four rubber spacers to the bottom of the unit, one at each
corner.
3. Set the unit on a stable server. This unit will form the base of the server configuration.

Cabling the UPS and any EBMs (S3400-H only)
To cable the UPS and any EBM units:
1. Connect the EBM cable to the battery connector on the UPS. See item 1 in
Connecting a UPS and an
EBM (back view)
.
2. If you must connect additional EBMs, plug the EBM cable of the second EBM into the battery connector
on the first EBM.
3. Repeat step 2 for each additional EBM. Up to four EBMs can be connected to the UPS.
