Facility Interface Codes
A Facility Interface Code (FIC) is a 5-character code (United States only) that
provides the technical information needed to order a specific port circuit pack for
analog private lines, digital lines, MTS lines, and WATS lines.

order codes, Ringer Equivalency Numbers (RENs), and types of network jacks
that connect a line to a rear panel connector on a carrier.
