Suppress Alarm Origination [y]
While logged in as “craft” to Avaya MultiVantage software via a:
■
Local terminal
No alarms are reported to Avaya’s alarm receiving system. After logging
off, the system automatically resumes alarm origination and reports any
unresolved alarms to the alarm receiver.
■
Web-based administration process
The suppression of alarm origination is optional.
Also, while logged in as “craft,” an idle terminal is automatically logged off after
30 minutes. At that time, any unresolved alarms are reported to Avaya’s alarm
receiving system. If you are logged in as “craft” at two terminals, the logoff occurs
when the second terminal is unused for 30 minutes.
NOTE:
The test inads-link command functions even if alarm origination is
overridden.
