OPERATION DESCRIPTION
The telephone dialler is provided with two transmitting channels.
The user can record, for each channel, a message lasting 10 seconds max. that will be sent,
in case of emergency, to 4 programmable telephone numbers (totally 8).
In case of alarm, the telephone dialler switches on the portable telephone and, once the
network search pre-set time has elapsed (15 or 30 seconds), the following cycle starts:
– It calls the first stored number. If the person called answers (on-line signal) the dialler
reproduces the stored message two times (2 x 10 seconds). After emitting a sound signal,
it awaits the BLOCK signal that stops the calling cycle. This signal can be sent by the called
person by pressing key # on the telephone keypad of the person receiving the alarm call.
– If the dialler does not receive the block signal, it calls the second stored number and so
on up to the fourth number.
Before calling the next number, the dialler awaits that 8 rings are emitted (40 s.). The calls
are repeated twice for each numbers, excluding the numbers that have answered. The calling
cycle stops with the BLOCK signal (# code) or, when the four numbers related to the messa-
ge have been called twice.
The alarm cycle can be stopped also locally, by dialling the USER CODE directly on the dialler
keypad followed by key
✗
, or by pressing any key on the keypad if function 9 is activated.
(see page 45).
