LCD display
The display is LCD (1 line 8 letters) and shows the messages explaining the phases in pro-
gress during programming. In normal operating conditions, it may display the following
indications:
1) stand-by. When the power supply is connected, the LCD displays AVE SPA for 10
seconds. Then the dialler remains in stand-by awaiting the code to receive the program-
ming, which will customise it, according to the user requirements.
Mention AVE SPA is displayed as soon as the dialler is in stand-by.
2) Low Lithium internal battery. The battery control circuit operates through two thre-
sholds:
• Threshold 1: battery voltage < 6.25 V; in this case, the condition is signalled by the
speaker through 3 short beeps every hour approx.
• Threshold 2: battery voltage < 5.8 V; this condition is signalled by the speaker through
3 long beeps every hour approx.
The condition of battery voltage < threshold 1 is displayed by the following warning during
all the time the condition persists:
Note 1: the condition of battery voltage < threshold 1 can also enable the operating cycle
related to channel 1 by programming Function 6 (see page 39).
3) Pre-alarm in progress. Before starting its operation, the dialler (according to Function 4)
awaits 15 or 30 seconds to allow the network search (indicated by mention STAND-BY).
Then the dialler enters the PRE-ALARM condition (enabled by the receipt of the radio code
coming from control panels or remote controls) that is signalled by:
• A sound alarm through a series of beeps, 1 every 2 seconds for 30 seconds
• A visual alarm on the LCD display through the following mention:
After 30 seconds, during which it is possible to cancel the telephone transmission, the tran-
smission cycle starts.
