Installation Steps

1

Step

To get started, locate the studs near where

you'd like to install the enclosure before cutting

the drywall. The in-wall backbox is designed to

fit between wall studs.
Once the studs have been located on the left

and right of the desired location, leave at least

13 mm (1/2 in.) clearance from the studs to

ensure mounting clips can rotate and secure the

backbox to the drywall.
Use a level to draw straight lines.
Cut an opening in the drywall with dimensions

300 x 207 mm (11 3/4  x 8 1/8 in.).

Step

Pull and terminate the network cable into the

box through the bottom cut-outs in preparation

for connecting to Mira Connect 10.
Insert the backbox into the hole with the clips

remaining on the inside of the backbox.
Rotate one of the top drywall clips by tightening

the clip screw just enough to secure the box to

the wall. Do not finish tightening.
Repeat this for the opposite top clip, then with

the two bottom clips.
Once the box is secure enough to remain in

position, but not completely tightened, level the

box and tighten the screws so the enclosure is

secure and level.

3

Step

Mount the adapter plate to the back of the Mira

Connect 10 touch panel using four M4 screws

provided.

4

Step

Turn the adapter plate over, connect the

network cable to Mira Connect 10, ensure the

power switch is turned on. Use a Power over

Ethernet (PoE) enabled network connection.
Mount mount the adapter plate to the backbox

using four M4 screws with the Ethernet

connection on the bottom.

5

Step

Install the trim ring by aligning over the opening

and then snapping it into place.  The trim ring

can be carefully removed by pulling it from the

backbox.
