6.9

Creating voucher records

You can program up to 15 different voucher records for use 
with PLU voucher promotions. The voucher record contains 
the following information:

the description to be printed on the voucher.

print mode

expiry date

barcode format

printer ID

label format

Voucher description

You can program a voucher description up to a maximum 
length of 200 characters. The description can contain

alpha and numeric characters

embedded information such as PLU texts, current date 
and time, operator number

information see section 10

Substitution codes 

on page 197.

Print type

You can select whether the voucher will be printed when the 
machine is in Label or Receipt or Label & Receipt mode.

Expiry date

If you program an expiry date it can be used as the expiry date 
for the voucher validity or as the expiry date for the promotion. 
You can disable the expiry date.

Barcode format

You can enter a barcode reference form 0 to 15. The voucher 
barcode format is programmed in the Barcode format table. 
Voucher barcodes usually have a different prefix to 
differentiate from normal label barcodes.
