15. AVG Admin Server for Linux
AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux
is designed for administration of AVG DataCenter using
the HTTP communication protocol for connection between the AVG stations and
DataCenter. A Firebird server is used for accessing the DataCenter database.
AVG Proxy server is also a part of the AVG Admin Server and serves for mirroring
update files that can be accessed via the HTTP protocol.

The AVG Proxy server feature is included in the
AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux
. There

The
AVG Admin Server 9.0 for Linux
contains also AVG Managed Update service. This
service provides the fastest way of new updates notification to AVG stations in your
local network.
