INSTALLATION DRAWINGS
It is important to install the hood at the proper mounting height.
A hood mounted too low could result in heat damage and fire hazard,
while a hood mounted too high will be hard to reach and will lose its
performance efficiency.
The hood distance above an electric cooking surface must not be
less than 28”. The hood distance above a gas cooking surface must
no less than 30’’.
For ceilings of 9’ or more, the minimum hood distance must be no
less than 30" for any type of cooktop.
