To attach the inner slide rails on the new enclosure:
1. Remove the three screws securing both inner slide rails from each side of the enclosure.

2. Position the inner slide rail against the side of the new enclosure so that the notched end
is under the raised tab at the front of the unit.
3. Secure the inner slide rail to the enclosure with the three slide rail screws.
4. Repeat this procedure to attach the other inner slide rail on the other side of the
enclosure.
5. If you are not moving any internal adapter boards or swapping the system drive, replace
the new enclosure into the rack. Otherwise continue with
“Swapping the System Drive” on page 10
.
After reinstalling the enclosure into the rack, replace the data drives.
