THERNET

I
NTERFACE
This is an industry standard Ethernet (LAN) interface.
Supported rates are:
•
10 BaseT
•
100 BaseT
The port does not (!) cross automatically. Thus, if connected directly to a PC, either the PC has
to be auto-crossing or you need to use a Ethernet Cross-Over cable.

CURRENT LOOP INTERFACE
The analog 20mA interface is a differential current input with an internal resistance of 49.9 Ohms. This
allows to interface industrial standard 4…20mA sensors to the data logger.
5.8.1
Default 20mA settings
Input resistor: 49.9 Ohm
Measurement range: 0 .. 20 mA
To avoid sensor signal clipping, the voltage levels of analog channels must be kept within the range:
negative Pin Voltage ≥ 0V
positive Pin Voltage ≤ 3V referenced to GND
5.8.2
2-wire and 3-wire setup considerations
•
Use external power
–
the data logger does not provide current sourcing
•
Tie “
-
“ of the ADC channel to Signal Ground if 2 wire setup is used
•
ADC channels are isolated
