4.1
Calibrate the scanner
If the scanned image looks fuzzy or there are strange stripes on it, the scanner may need
calibrating in order for the sensor to resume its original precision. To calibrate the scanner:
1.
Turn off the scanner.
* Ensure the battery is fully charged and a microSD
TM
card is inserted.
2.
Remove the calibration sheet (included in the scanner package) from its plastic sleeve
and place it on a flat surface with the printed side UP.
3.
Place the scanner on the white area of the calibration sheet.
4.
Press and hold the [PDF JPG] button for 5 seconds, and press the “Scan” button for
one second. The scanner initiates the calibration mode(Red LED flashing, C01 is
shown on screen)
5.
Move the scanner down on the white area. When the first calibration is complete,
CO2 is displayed on the LCD screen.
6.
Move the scanner on the white area to perform 2
nd
calibration. When the calibration is
successful, “777” is first displayed and then “888” is displayed on the screen.
7.
The scanner automatically shuts off after calibration is finished.
8.
Carefully place the calibration sheet back into the plastic sleeve and store until next
use.
During calibration, move
the scanner only in the
white area.
