BlueFRITZ! AP-X – 1 General Remarks
For detailed information about the Bluetooth profiles sup-
ported and their application potentials, please see the sec-
tion “Bluetooth Profiles” on page 20.
Thanks to the BlueFRITZ! AP-X PBX and the FRITZ! communi-
cation software, all the connected computers can use ISDN
applications such as file transfer, telefax (Group 3), answer-
ing machine functions, PC telephony, and Internet services.
Once you have connected BlueFRITZ! AP-X to your computer,
you can use the FRITZ!X configuration software to configure
the PBX. It does not matter whether the computer is connect-
ed over Bluetooth or the USB cable. If you operate BlueFRITZ!
AP-X without a computer, you can also configure it from a
tone-dialing extension telephone. A detailed description of
the configuration settings in FRITZ!X is provided in the Online
Help. The configuration procedures using a telephone are
described in detail in the PDF file TELEPHONE.PDF, located in
the folder SOFTWARE\INFO\ on the BlueFRITZ! AP-X CD.
