Remove the six (6) 10mm plastic nuts and four (4) 8mm
screws along the tunnel (example shown at
Arrows A
) that
hold the two side plastic underbelly panels in place to
access the OEM cross
-
brace, shown at
Arrow B
in
Figure 3
.
Remove the four (4) 16mm bolts that hold the cross
-
brace
in, shown at
Arrows C
in
Figure 3
. (Two are behind the
underbody panels.)
Remove the two (2) 13mm bolts from the OEM inlet hanger,
shown at the arrows in
Figure 4
.
Loosen the OEM V
-
band clamp located at the front of the
inlet section.
Support the exhaust and remove the two rubber hangers
from the outlet end of the mid section of the OEM exhaust,
located by the driver side rear axle.
Install the front inlet section (part TU) by first loosely securing
the pipe to the inlet bracket with the two (2) 13mm bolts, as
shown by
Arrow A
in
Figure 5
.
With the back end of the AWE Tuning front inlet section
supported, reuse the OEM V
-
band clamp to secure the
section to the factory downpipe, as shown by
Arrow B
in
Figure 5
.
