With the cat back exhaust system properly secure, install a 
hanger lock collar on each of the hangers located at the rear 
of the car, at the arrow in 

Figure 9

. Snug the lock collar 

against the rubber grommet and tighten with the enclosed 
Allen wrench.  

 

The hanger lock collar prevents the exhaust from sliding 
laterally under usage, keeping the tips properly aligned in 
the valence openings.

Disconnect the battery before performing any 
electrical work. 

 

In the trunk, remove the liner to access the harness outlined

 (located on the passenger rear corner). To 

access the harness, it is necessary to partially remove the 
fuse box.
