DOS
The CD-ROM server is mounted using the net use command.
1. Use the net use command to mount the CD-ROM server.
At the DOS prompt, type:
net use <drive letter>: \\AXIS<nnnnnn>\<folder>
,
where
<nnnnnn>
are the six last digits of your Axis CD-ROM
server serial number and
<folder>
is any CD-ROM server
folder.
Example (root level access):
To access the root level of your CD-ROM server with serial
number is 00408CCD000B under the drive letter E, type:

If your CD-ROM server serial number is 00408CCD000B, and
you want to be able to access all the CD-ROMs under the drive
letter F, type:

If your CD-ROM server serial number is 00408CCD000B, and
you want to map a CD-ROM named cd_18881 to drive G, type:
2. To make the connections permanent, edit your autoexec.bat
file to include your net use commands.
net use E: \\AXISCD000B\root
net use F: \\AXISCD000B\cd
net use G: \\AXISCD000B\cd_18881
