Accessing CD-ROMs
in UNIX
Before you begin
You will need
root
privileges to mount the AXIS StorPoint CD.
To access the StorPoint CD, perform the following:

is the host name assigned to the StorPoint CD
during TCP/IP configuration.
NFS for PC or Apple
Macintosh
The StorPoint CD can also be accessed using third party NFS software
for PC or Apple Macintosh computers. If you run a TCP/IP network
this is an alternative to SMB. Refer to the NFS software
documentation for instructions on how to mount the StorPoint CD.
mkdir <directory>
mkdir /storpoint
mount <host name>:/ <directory>
mount cdserv:/ /storpoint
