PCs in the NFS
environment
PC workstations in a UNIX network can be authenticated. This
requires an authentication server specified in the
PCNFSDAuthentServer
parameter in the configuration file
.
The
DefaultUid
and
PCNFSDAuthentServer
parameters can be
combined in four different ways, resulting in the following behavior:
NFSUser = 100
NFSUser = 101
NFSGroup = 4
NFSIPAddress = 171.16.2.230
NFSIPAddress = 171.16.2.235
