Macintosh
To set the IP address for your StorPoint CD follow these steps:
1. Open the Chooser from the Apple menu.
2. Click the AppleShare icon.
3. From the
Select a file server
list, select AXIS<nnnnnn_AT> where <nnnnnn>
are the last six digits of the StorPoint CD serial number.
4. Select
Registered User
and click
Connect
. By default, the Name is set to
root
and the Password is set to
pass
.
5. Select the
System
folder and click
OK
.
6. Open the
System
icon created on the desktop and select the
Server
Properties
folder.
7. Open the config.ini file.
8. In the text editor go to the
[IP]
section and change the Internet address to the
required IP address.
9. Go to the
[Server]
section and set Restart = yes to restart the server.
10. Select
Save
from the
File
menu.
