FITTING THE GAS CLYINDER
IMPORTANT:
Use gas cylinder standard G30/G31 with a valve with external thread.
Use a standard hose, max. 1.5 m. All of the hose must be clearly visible so it can be checked after the
installation.
DANGER:
Only use a regulator and gas cylinder recommended by the manufacturer. The use of another
regulator can be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
Connecting the gas cylinder
Before connecting the gas cylinder, check that the coupling, regulator, burner and burner ports are
unobstructed.
Connect the gas hose to the cylinder by screwing the knob clockwise as far as it goes. Check that the hose
is not twisted.
Disconnecting the gas container
Check before disconnecting the gas cylinder that the valve is closed.
Disconnect the gas hose from the gas cylinder by screwing the knob anticlockwise until it comes loose.
Always check for leakage after connecting.
DANGER:
Do not change gas cylinders near ignition sources.
Leak test
(only perform in a well-ventilated area)
Make sure that the adjustment knob is in the closed position.
Open the gas valve.
Check all the gas connections in the system, including all valve connections, hose connections and
regulator connections, by applying a soap solution on them.
NOTE:
NEVER check for leaks with a naked flame.
Any leakage will result in the formation of bubbles. Close the gas valve and tighten the leaking
connection. Repeat the test. If bubbles form again, close the gas valve and contact your dealer.
Check for leaks once a year and every time the gas cylinder is removed or replaced.
USE
WARNING:
Always check before using the product that it is properly assembled.
Leave at least 1 m of free space around the product when using it.
Never use the product indoors, or in an enclosed area.
Do not block the flow of ventilation air around the grill.
Before lighting
Check the gas hose before opening the gas valve. Replace the hose immediately if it shows signs of wear
or damage. Check for leaks before use. Do not use the grill if you can smell gas.
Preparation
If you want to prevent food sticking to the rack, try applying a little table oil on it before grilling. NOTE! The
first time you use the grill the colour may change slightly. This is normal.
Lighting
1.
Read these instructions before lighting.
2.
Open the cover.
3.
Check that all the knobs are in the • position.
4.
Connect the regulator to the gas cylinder valve and open the valve.
5.
Push in and turn the control knob anticlockwise to about the 1/4 position until you hear a clicking
sound and the burners light.
6.
Set the required flame size between the 1/4 and 1/2 positions.
