1.2.1. The U601 Mainboard Series
The U601 mainboards are Micro-ATX Socket 370 CPU platforms. They are
based on the VIA Apollo PLE133T and are able to support three different FSB
Clock speeds: 66 MHz, 100 MHz or 133 MHz. It also supports up to 1GB of
SDR SDRAM. It has four USB ports, two PCI slots. The U601BL also comes
with Onboard LAN. Both the U601BL and U601BV come with a number of dif-
ferent connectors including Auxiliary-In, CD-In and WOL. The infrared (IR) and
Sony Phillips Digital Interface (S/PDIF) connectors are optional items (see ap-
pendix A for further details). They also have a single jumper (for clearing
CMOS) and this facilitates simplified assembly.
