• Warnings are to prevent injury and damage to user and patient.
These are all for your safety, please follow the instructions.
•
Class II equipment
To identify equipment meeting the safety requirements specifi ed
for Class II equipment according to IEC 60536.
Note -
The position of the double-square symbol has been placed
such that it is obvious that the symbol is part of the technical informa-
tion and can in no way be confused with the manufacturer’s name or
other identifi cations.
WARNING
• Only rechargeable batteries are allowed to be used. Do not use
manganese and alkaline batteries. If mishandled, this may cause
leakage or ruptures.
• Do not touch the AC power plug with wet hands. This is a shock
hazard.
• Do not drop any kind of liquid or water on the motor handpiece and
adapter, as a short circuit may cause fi re, electric shock or corrosion
of the product.
• Unauthorized modifi cation and dismantling is prohibited.
• Do not drop the motor handpiece or adapter. Install the adapter on
a fl at and safe surface.
• If the product is not to be used for long periods, please remove the
battery. There is possibility of leakage.
• Please use the same kind of batteries. Otherwise, there is risk of
leakage of dissimilar chemicals that may react.
• Please use the designated batteries and charger for the product.
• Do not disassemble or change the motor.
• System damages may occurr if the product is used near an electro-
magnetic fi eld.
• Do not use the product near of the fl ammable product or nitrous
oxide.
• The product has circuit which can protect of fi le damage, but the fi le
can be damaged by strong torque or resistance.
• Please do not leave the child alone with the product and keep
attention to child, elderly and disabled person to be close to the
product or not.
• Do not touch signal input, signal output, or other connectors, and
the patient simultaneously.
• External equipment intended for connection to signal input, signal
output or other connectors, shall comply with relevant IEC Standard
(e.g., IEC60950 for IT equipment and IEC60601-1 or IEC60601-
1-1 series for medical electrical equipment) If in doubt, contact
qualifi ed technician or local representative.
NOTICE
• The motor handpiece is designed to be used with Nickel mercury
batteries (rechargeable). It is possible to use Ni-Cd battery but
the charging time and usage period may be shortened due to the
charging currents being different.
• The motor handpiece will draw a small electric power during power
off. The rechargeable battery will discharge little by little when the
product is not in use even after charging fully. The product is recom-
mended to be charged before use.
• Machine is equipped with low voltage sensor. however, sometimes
machine fails to perceive low voltage especially after a re-charge for
a few minutes, which is normal with this type of battery.
• Please charge the battery (which is rechargeable) after use, as of-
ten as possible. Periodically, discharge, and charge, as short usage
periods can shorten battery life (due to the memory effect) In this
case, repeatation of charge and discharge of fully used battery can
make it better condition.
• If the product is not in use for long period, please take out the
battery.
