Body Mass Index (BMI)
The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measure of relative weight based on an individual's mass and
height. BMI provides a simple numeric measure of a person's thickness or thinness, allowing
health professionals to discuss overweight and underweight problems more objectively with
their patients.
Indication of Use:
The BMI is designed for calculating and estimating body composition parameters by using
measured weight and height of an intended operator (patient/user) in home, hospital or
clinical environment.

Measuring BMI with B.O.L.T
1.
Choose Body Mass Index option from the application screen.
2.
Based on the profile information, details of the user is fetched directly to calculate.
3.
To edit, enter your height (feet/cm) and weight (lbs/kg) of the person to be measured
in the application.
4.
On successful measurement, the BMI value is displayed which can be compared with
the above BMI range classification table.
