Lighting Instructions;

A63 Valve;

1.  

Pilot burner is located inside the burner ring. Using a long lighter,    

 

point the lighter flame directly at the pilot housing at a distance no   

 

greater than 30mm.

2.  

Turn main gas knob 30º anti-clockwise and push to start pilot gas    

 flow.

3.  

When pilot is alight, hold down main gas knob for approximately 15  

 

seconds, or until thermocouple has warmed sufficiently to maintain  

 flame.

4.  

Once pilot flame is established, rotate main gas knob a further 60º    

 

anti-clockwise to maximum, or a further 120º to minimum.

5.  

If pilot flame shuts off prior to establishing, repeat steps 1-4 until    

 

thermocouple has warmed sufficiently to maintain gas flow.

Shut Down Procedure;

1.  

Rotate main gas valve knob clockwise to off position.

2.  

Observe pilot and main burner flames are extinguished.

D3 Valve;

1.  

Turn handle “B” to OFF position mark on sticker.

2.  

Turn pilot valve knob “A” anti-clockwise to ON position.

3.  

Using a long reach lighter, point the lighter flame directly at the pilot housing at a distance no greater  

 

than 30mm. Push and hold the blue button “C”.

4.  

Once pilot flame is lit, keep the blue button depressed for 15 seconds, or until pilot flame stays lit. 

5.  

If pilot flame shuts off prior to establishing, repeat steps 1-4 until thermocouple has warmed suffi-  

 

ciently to maintain gas flow.
