USING ESF DATA IMPORT
In order to link the group addresses of an ESF file (group address file ending with *.esf), it must first be
exported directly from the ETS (or from the EIB
PORT
). For all objects of the DUO
DMX
GATEWAY the
following data types are relevant:
1 bit: DPT 1.001 (switch EIS 1), value: [0.1]
4 bit: DPT 3.007 (dim EIS 2 relatively), value: [brighter, darker, stop]
1 byte: DPT 5.001 (EIS 6 percent), value [0 – 100%, step size 0.4%]
3-byte DPT 232.600 RGB, value [R 0 - 255, G 0 - 255, B 0 - 255]
4-byte DPT 12.001 4-byte unsigned as RGBW, value [(0…4 294 967 295): 1. Byte = R, 2.
Byte = G, 3. Byte = B, 4. Byte = W]
In order to import an ESF file into the
DMX configurator
, proceed as follows:
1.
Import an ESF(groupadress-) file
Open in the DMX-Configurator menu "
Extensions
"> "
KNX
"> "
Import ESF
"
Figure 36: import ESF file
After selecting the desired ESF-file, in the left window of the address tree is displayed. The tree
can be expanded or collapsed by clicking on the small “+” and “-” buttons.
