Blanket Stitch - Decorative Stitch
Set up the machine for 2-thread flatlock-wide but the needle
threading path is different for this technique.
1 . I ns ert a s iz e 9 0 t op s t it c h need le in lef t ov erloc k need le pos it ion.
2. Engage the threading lever in the threading position.
3. Swing the subsidiary looper into place on the upper looper.

6. Engage the threading lever to the serging position, pull the
t h read out of t h e upper looper t ub e and c ont inue t o t h read t h e
need le as illus t rat ed .
7 . P lac e w at er- s olub le s t ab iliz er on t op of t h e f ab ric , along t h e
ed g e.
8. Stitch along the edge of the fabric. (Fig. A)
9. When finished stitching, pull the water-soluble stabilizer to the
right of the fabric. (fig. B)
