Cruise Mode
When quilting in Cruise mode, the needle will start to move immediately when you
press the Start/Stop key on the handlebars, according to the cruise speed (stitches-
per-minute) setting.
Once you begin to move the machine, the needle will move according to the stitches-
per-inch (SPI) setting. The needle continues to move at the Cruise speed (stitches-per-
minute) anytime you pause the machine, until you press the Start/Stop key on the
handlebars to fully stop quilting.
Select Cruise Mode by touching the Cruise icon on the Home screen.
The Cruise speed is the SPM the machine will stitch, regardless of how the machine is moved.
Precision Mode
Stitch regulation maintains a consistent stitch length (stitches-per-inch) regardless of how
quickly or slowly you move the machine. When quilting in Precision mode, the needle only
moves when you move the machine.
