1. Fold the fabric as illustrated with the wrong
side facing up.
2. Attach the blind hem foot.
Place the fabric under the foot.
Turn the handwheel toward you (counter
clockwise) by hand until the needle swings
fully to the left. It should just pierce the fold of
the fabric. If it does not, adjust the stitch width
or guide on the presser foot accordingly.
3. Adjust the guide (b) by turning the knob (a) so
that the guide just rests against the folded
edge of the fabric and the needle just barely
catches the fold as you sew.
4. Sew slowly, guiding the fabric carefully along
the edge of the guide.
5. Turn the fabric over.
