10.1 Preparation for Installation in Vehicle

When available, UAS is the recommended method

of securing the Car Seat in the vehicle.

WARNING!

DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur:

• FAILURE TO PROPERLY SECURE THE CHILD

RESTRAINT IN YOUR VEHICLE INCREASES THE RISK

OF SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH IN THE EVENT OF

A SUDDEN STOP, SHARP TURN OR CRASH.

• ALWAYS SECURE THIS CAR SEAT IN A REAR-FACING

POSITION WHEN USING IT IN A VEHICLE.

• REMOVE ANY TOY OR OTHER OBJECTS ATTACHED TO CARRY

HANDLE BEFORE INSTALLING CAR SEAT IN VEHICLE.

1. Park your vehicle on a level surface so that the Seat

Angle Indicator located on the left side of the Car Seat will

properly indicate the proper angle of recline of the seat.

2. Make sure you have selected an acceptable location for the Car Seat

as instructed in Section 8.0 Selecting A Vehicle Seat Location for
