Wrap the straightener in the heat protection wrap provided and allow to fully
cool down before storing away.
Sensor Protect™ Technology
Select the protect mode for enhanced heat protection. The intelligent heat
control technology monitors and adjusts the plate temperature to deliver salon
straightening with care. There are two ways in which to use the straightener;
with or without the protect mode.
•
After turning the straightener on, it will automatically set to 200°C. Select a
suitable temperature for your hair type by pressing the + or - buttons.
•
If the protect mode is not activated the straightener will continue to operate at
the temperature selected.
•
To use the straightener in protect mode, first select a temperature, then press
the ‘Protect’ button.
•
Once the protect mode has been activated the protect symbol
will appear
within the LCD screen next to the temperature.
•
The selected temperature will begin to flash registering that the protect mode
has been activated.
•
After a few passes through the hair the Sensor Protect™ technology will
monitor and automatically adjust the temperature according to your hair
