INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Preparation of the skin
Before using the product, make sure that the skin is dry, perfectly clean and free from
grease or cream. Do not apply any cream or body milk before shaving.
Exfoliating the skin once or twice a week helps to maintain healthy and fresh skin, but
it also helps to:
• Prevent hairs from growing under the skin, resulting in in-grown hairs
• Remove dead skin cells and refine the texture of your skin, resulting in a closer shave
• Prepare your skin to help it absorb skin care products.
We recommend exfoliating ideally the day before, as well as just before epilating. This
will help straighten the hair and make it easier to remove. Avoid exfoliating just after
epilating. Having a warm shower or bath before and during use will also help to soften
the hair.
Charging
This epilator is so easy to use, but before you do anything you must take your time to
charge the unit for 16 hours before its first use.
1. Ensure the epilator is switched off.
2. Plug the adaptor into the base of the epilator. And then plug the adaptor into a
suitable power outlet.
3. The charging LED indicator light will illuminate red and blink to indicate that it is
correctly plugged in and charging.
4. Allow the epilator to stay on charge for 16 hours. A full charge will provide
approximately 40 minutes use. Subsequent charges should be 120 minutes thanks to
the quick charge function. NOTE - Maximum battery capacity will only be reached after
3 charging/ discharging cycles.
5. Once the epilator is charged, the charging LED indicator light will become green. Once
fully charged, unplug the adaptor from the power outlet.
6. Although there is no risk of over-charging, it is advisable to unplug the power adaptor
after a maximum of 24 hours. This will help prolong the battery life.
7. The epilator is now ready for use.
In order to maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable batteries, the appliance
has to be fully discharged every 3 months approximately. Then recharge the appliance to
full capacity, again for 16 hours.
