- Comb often to check and to clean
off the cutted hair.
MAINTENANCE
Remove the cutting guide after
each use. A regular care of the
blades will maintain correct
performances of the clipper.
Detachable blades
The blades of this clipper are
removable for easy cleaning. Hold
the clipper with blade frame poin-
ting upwards and push up to take
the blade frame out.
Brush away the hair from the bla-
des with the cleaning brush.
Self-lubricating blades
The blades of your clipper are
provided with a reservoir pad that
provides the appropriate amount
of oil, use after use. Yet, it is highly
recommended to recharge it perio-
dically, as soon as the clipper does
not offer optimal performances.
Detach the blades as indicated
above. Add a few drops of the
provided oil onto the teeth of the
blades. Replace the blades back
in place.
Never use any other product than
the one provided (Ref. 4700). This
oil was formulated for clippers, it
does not evaporate or slow down
the blades.
Replacement blades can be
purchased when your blades are
worn or damaged. Check with your
retailer.
Ni-Cd BATTERIES
This clipper contains Nickel-
Cadmium batteries.
To help protect our environment,
these batteries should be removed
for safe disposal at the end of
the clipper’s life. To remove the
battery pack for disposal or recy-
cling, please follow the below pro-
cedure:
1. First switch the clipper off and
unplug it. Take out the blades
and the 2 screws located under
the blade frame. Take out also
the screw located at the back of
the clipper body.
2. Open the appliance and
remove the batteries with
cutting pliers.
3. For environmental reasons, do
not discard the batteries with
your regular refuse. Contact
your local authorities for more
details on recycling and safe
disposal facilities in your area.
