appliance. Ensure that the voltage
of the appliance corresponds to
the voltage of the outlet. Plug the
power plug into an outlet. Two short

TIPS FOR USE
PREPARING YOUR SKIN
• Wash your skin thoroughly with
an alcohol-free cleaning gel to
remove all traces of lotion, oil,
make-up and any impurities on the
skin. The treatment should always
be carried out on clean skin (cf.
contraindications). For best results
from the patches, make sure that
the patches are clean to ensure
continuous contact between them
and your skin.
• The treatment can be carried out
before or after removing hair. It is
not necessary to see hair to use
electrolysis (the growth phase
begins when the hair is still 4 mm
under the skin).
USING THE PATCHES AND THE
STYLET
. Select the patch shape appropriate
for the area you wish to treat, or use
the precision stylet.
(see figure 3)
2. Plug the main connector (lilac-
coloured) into the appliance.
Connect the two chosen patches
(to the two lilac-coloured pins) and
the contact patch (round, maroon
coloured).
OR
2’. Plug the precision stylet connector
into the appliance.
3. Remove the two treatment patches
selected from their protective film
and place them on the area to
be treated. Then place the round
contact patch between the two
treatment patches near the area
being treated at an equal distance
from each patch.
4. Make sure that the current intensity
variator (the little wheel) is set at
minimum.
5. Turn on your BaByliss ELECTROLISS
by pressing the button for at least
two seconds.
6. Press the button once again for
to 2 seconds to start the cycle,
release it and a short bip signals
the beginning of the cycle. The
hourglass icon starts to move and
the part of the body being treated
starts flashing. If you hear two BIPs,
this indicates that the patches are
incorrectly placed.
7. Your appliance has an automatic
recognition mechanism, in other
words, it will ‘recognise’ the patches
or the stylet that you have plugged
in, and the areas to be treated
will appear on the icon of the
