• Excessive redness and swelling:
in some rare cases, skin treated with
Homelight® can become very red and swollen. This reaction is more
common in sensitive areas of the body. Redness and swelling should
disappear within 2 to 7 days of regular application of ice. Gentle
cleaning is no problem, but you should avoid exposure to sunlight.
• Infection:
skin infections are extremely rare but may occur following
burns or injuries to the skin caused by Homelight®.
• Bruising:
very rarely, using Homelight® can cause bluish-purple
bruising which can last for 5 to 10 days. As the blue fades, the skin
can take on a rusty colour (hyperpigmentation) which may be
permanent.
It is normal to feel some discomfort after a depilation session with
Homelight®.
Speak to your doctor if discomfort persists or bothers you during or
after treatment with Homelight®.
